 Overlec Limited was incorporated in 1998 and initially offered project management services. The company's success even at this early stage can be directly attributed to the senior management's experience of working on electricity distribution projects at all levels including construction, supervision and site management.
Between 1998 and 2003, the company supplied project management services to various clients in Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Projects included:
 Replacement of conventional open wire low voltage networks with ABC plus associated pole and fittings change outs.- Large scale 11kV refurbishment projects including long term programmes replacing conventional conductors with BLX.
- New build of lines operating at 11, 33 and 132kV (Trident).
- Upgrade of 10kV systems to 20kV.
During the year 2004, having carried out detailed studies on the industry's requirements for the forthcoming years, the officers of the company made the decision to increase levels of service to our clients.
Overlec Limited went on to supply self contained construction units to compliment the project management facility. This change in direction, having been built upon and refined has led to our current position within the market place.
